Underwhelming Stay, Sadly
cold foodslow service
The bar service was just awful. There was a massive queue because only one person was working, and it took forever to order. Food arrived cold after an hour wait. Dirty tables everywhere. Frankly, I expected something better for the price.

the food was NOT great , considering the prices. the christmas dinner was served in a self-service style , and the meals seemed cheap. honestly , it all felt a bit underwhelming for what I paid.

Fantastic Family Fun!

My children especially loved the swimming pool, soft play area, pool table, and bowling alley. They are great. The claw machines were a hit, and we managed to win twenty cuddly toys. The pizzas from the Wood Shed were delicious, too, I really enjoyed them. There was plenty to keep the kids entertained during our entire stay!
The car park was full upon arrival, and it was not signposted how to reach the back of the hotel. I had to ask a member of staff.

The location had amazing facilities. I found that the hotel was close to various attractions and provided convenient access to outdoor activities. The surrounding area offered beautiful scenery and opportunities for exploring nature trails.

The restaurant had good choice for both adults and children. I thought everyone left very full. The breakfast offered a decent selection, and the dinner buffet was good after a long day of walking. The pizzas from the wood shed were lovely also!

The breakfast buffet was very convenient, it offered a wide variety of options. i especially liked that haggis was included in the full breakfast! the hotel also provides onsite food and drinks. This makes it very comfortable.

the location had an idyllic charm, especially in the gentle weather. the building had a very thoughtful layout. i found the staff helpful and really did their best to make everything better. i thoroughly appreciated all the little things.
i noticed some areas looked slightly worn, like some carpeting needed deeper cleaning.

The staff at the pool and restaurant were particularly accommodating. They addressed requests swiftly. their attentive service made a significant difference. They really cared. the front desk staff answered all my questions patiently.

The room i stayed in was very clean and appointed nicely. it created a restful environment after long days, i slept well. the bed linens were pristine white. This enhanced the feeling of care!
